Early Life:

The owner Local trucking company Alexentrucking, Andrew Alexandre, has overcome adversity throughout his life. He was born in Long Island, New York, and moved to Atlanta when he was 10 years old.

He has faced many challenges in his life, including kidnapping and contemplating suicide. He never gives up, always finding ways to overcome obstacles.

Alexandre says that the transition of his life from New York to Atlanta was a difficult one. All of his family were in Georgia, and he found himself isolated in the new place he moved to.

But eventually, he met this guy who became a good friend of his, and things have gone pretty smoothly since then. Alexandre was an average student, but he had a keen interest in playing sports. In high school, he played basketball.

Because his mother is a nurse and his father is a physician, he has developed an interest in medicine. Alexandre also studied pre-med in college. He got into trucking because of his father. His father was already operating a trucking business with his brother, but they were not doing as well as they wanted.

However, Alexandre saw the passage of making money and learned everything about trucking gradually to run a local  trucking company, one step at a time. After investing some time and money into researching the industry, he overtook the business and came out on top.

Interaction with TN’H:

In an interview with TN’H, Alexandre shared his experience of establishing the business plan and growing the local trucking company.

He started out with two trucks that were more like a liability than a revenue stream, but he turned things around with some hard work and perseverance. He says that at first, there were no customers, but, once he learned that he could lease the truck to other companies, he started doing so.

Alexandre, in an interview with Truck N’ Hustle, provided insights on the process of leasing trucks and all its mechanisms. He explained how to lease trucks and taught young trucking entrepreneurs how to manage the companies they owned and how to find and retain drivers.

In addition to that, Alexandre has done business outside of the United States. To show the audience how he might approach an international client, he told them about his experience dealing with a client in the Philippines.

This conversation would be helpful to anyone who is interested in finding an international client because Alexandre shared some tips on how to deal with them.

Alexandre said he had watched an episode of Truck N Hustle and was inspired by the entrepreneurs depicted in that show to take his business to the next level.

However, Alexandre admits that life is not all sunshine and roses and shares an unfortunate story about how a fire destroyed his truck and affected the business.

Despite these setbacks, the former pre-med student now owns 15 trucks, all of which are paid for in cash. He runs a highly successful local trucking business operation.

Final thought:

To conclude an interview that lasted two and a half hours, Alexandre motivated the audience by saying, “Believe in yourself and don’t care what anyone says about you. You’re gonna make it happen by any means necessary.”
